The BSc Physiotherapy program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the human body, injuries, and rehabilitation techniques. With a minimum of 1,000 clinical hours embedded in the curriculum, students gain hands-on experience from year one, treating patients in both National Health Service (NHS) and private sector settings.

Admissions and Interview Information

Prospective students applying for University of East London must meet specific entry requirements, including a minimum of 136 UCAS tariff points and specified grades in relevant subjects such as Biology, Human Biology, or Physical Education.

Entry to the program is by interview, conducted online via Microsoft Teams. For preparation specific to online interviews, preparing with a tutor or mentor is recommended. Q3: Can you describe a challenging patient scenario you encountered during your previous experiences, and how it was handled?

Answer: “During a previous work experience placement, we encountered a patient with complex mobility issues and multiple comorbidities, which presented significant challenges in developing an effective treatment plan. The physio that I was shadowing approached the situation by conducting a thorough assessment, consulting with the multidisciplinary team, and involving the patient in decision-making processes. Through clear communication, empathy, and adaptability, they were able to tailor the treatment approach to meet the patient’s needs, ultimately achieving positive outcomes and improving their quality of life.”
