Do You Get A Calculator In The UCAT

Advice & Insight From UCAT Specialists

A simple onscreen calculator is provided for the Quantitative Reasoning and Decision Making Sections of the UCAT exam. This can be accessed by selecting the calculator option at the top of the test screen, or through the keyboard shortcut (CTRL + C).

It is therefore recommended that when practicing, it is best to not use a handheld calculator. It is suggested to instead either use the official UCAT calculator (link below) or to simply not use one at all. Due to the restricted time in the UCAT examination, it is often faster to use mental maths, or the whiteboard provided.
