The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy offers a comprehensive PharmD curriculum that emphasises the development of strong clinical, research, and leadership competencies. Throughout the four-year PharmD program, students engage in a combination of classroom instruction, research projects, and experiential learning opportunities. Experiential learning components, consisting of introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences (IPPEs and APPEs), offer students the chance to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.

The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy uses an Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) format. There are six stations, each of which lasts 5 minutes, with 1-2 minutes between stations. The MMI is moderated by faculty, alumni and students affiliated with UT Austin College of Pharmacy.
