A total of 177 first year students are expected to enrol into the university each year. The average GPA of an incoming class is 3.85 and the average MCAT score is 513. There is a 7.3% overall acceptance rate, rising to 10.8% for in-state applicants. The total enrollment of the medical school is 723 students.
In its most recent cycles the university has conducted three interviews – two live and real-time and one pre-recorded. Each live interview has been with a single faculty member who makes up part of the Committee on Admissions. The pre-recorded interview is conducted before the interview day itself. The interview day will normally include a small group discussion with admissions leadership, a financial planning presentation and a tour of the campus. Interviews are typically open-file.

If you wish to apply to the early decision program, you must submit all required credentials by the first of August. You may also wish to apply to the second early decision cycle, in which case you must submit all required information by the first of October. The deadline for regular application materials is January 15th.
