Queen's College London 16+ Application Process & Interview Format

Admission to the Sixth Form at Queen’s College, London, involves an interview process with the Director of the Senior College, supported by a strong reference from the candidate’s current school. This reference should include predicted GCSE grades. In some instances, candidates may be required to undertake a brief test in certain subjects. The entry criteria also stipulate specific minimum grades in the student’s chosen A-level subjects, as well as minimum grades in GCSE Mathematics and English Language. Additionally, students must achieve a minimum total points score from all their GCSEs, calculated based on the number of GCSEs taken and the grades achieved in each. This points system values grades 5 and above, with each grade carrying corresponding points (e.g., a grade 9 is worth nine points). Grades below 5 do not contribute to the total points score.
