General Interview Information

The 2019 class was selected from a total of 6604 applicants, with the mean MCAT score being 507 and the mean cumulative GPA 3.64. The school states that competitive GPAs begin at 3.5 for both science subjects, non-science subjects, and cumulative. They emphasise that the range can be influenced by the total pool’s results. In 2020, 5958 students applied, with 347 being interviewed and 178 places given.

Interview Format

The interview is a traditional style interview, consisting of a ‘private interview with a small team of faculty members.’ On the day of the interview you should also expect to meet an admissions counselor, be provided with information regarding the decision making process, have presentations on the school, and be able to tour the school and partake in an interactive session over lunch – as well as a separate Q&A session.

Key Dates

Interviews begin in September and will continue until April. The deadline for the last MCAT is December 31st. The deadline for the submission of your primary application is January 31st, and the deadline for submission of secondary application is February 28th. The interview period ends at the end of April.
