I am drawn to ISB’s MBA program for several compelling reasons. Moreover, ISB’s emphasis on experiential learning and real-world application really resonates with me. The school’s unique approach to education, which combines case studies, simulations, and live projects, will allow me to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience in solving complex business problems. I am particularly excited about the prospect of participating in the ISB Leadership Summit, where I can learn from and engage with industry leaders and thought leaders from around the world.

Describe a situation where you made a positive social impact or contributed to a sustainability initiative.

In my previous role as a project manager at a leading IT company, I had the opportunity to lead the development and implementation of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on promoting digital literacy in underprivileged communities. The initiative was inspired by my personal passion for education and my belief that access to technology can be a powerful tool for social and economic empowerment.

I started by conducting a needs assessment in partnership with local NGOs and community leaders to identify the key barriers to digital literacy in the target communities. Based on this analysis, I proposed a multi-pronged strategy that included setting up computer labs in schools and community centers, providing training and support to teachers and volunteers, and developing a customized curriculum that was relevant and engaging for the learners.

To bring this vision to life, I collaborated with cross-functional teams across the organization, including IT, HR, and communications. I also engaged external stakeholders, such as government agencies and corporate sponsors, to secure funding and resources for the initiative. One of the ways I plan to contribute to the ISB community is by taking an active role in the school’s clubs and committees, particularly those focused on diversity and inclusion.
