Advice & Insight From UCAT Specialists
Different medical schools place a different emphasis on the Situational Judgement section (SJT) of the UCAT. Some regard it as critically important where achieving band 1, 2 or 3 is a pre-requisite for applying, whereas others exclude it from their application process altogether. For example, for 2019 applications, St George’s did not give any weightage to the Situational Judgement banding whilst King’s College did. Therefore, if you have already narrowed down your choices of which medical schools you are applying to, it is worth finding out just how much emphasis they place on the Situational Judgement by scrutinising the list below:
